INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGES FROM OUR QUEENS

MISSION STATEMENT
Beyond talent and beauty, the MUTYA NG PAG-IBIG SA NAYON Pageant represents the ideals of our community. We teach and encourage healthy living, self-confidence, creative accomplishment, community service, and the pursuit of scholastic achievement among young women. Our goal is to inspire, motivate, and lift young women to the realization that they are strong, independent, capable young ladies who can accomplish anything they set their minds to. We, as a committee are dedicated to that dream and promise to do our best to make it possible. We choose to not only look for, but to cultivate potential and to never put anyone down. We hope that each of these young women in our community come away with more than just a title. We hope they see that the effects of a positive attitude, self-respect, respect for others, and the fulfillment of knowing that they are good role models will last much longer than beauty or a crown.

KATE ANNE PANGILINAN REYES
MUTYA NG PAG-IBIG SA NAYON 2019
"I joined this pageant not just as a form of self-empowerment but to also empower everyone in the Barangay to be catalysts for change and to have the courage to take control of our lives and achieve our dreams. Apart from wanting to use this pageant as a platform to raise awareness regarding my advocacies such as breaking the stigma regarding Persons With Disabilities, both of physical and mental disabilities, I would like to inspire everyone by imparting some of my personal experiences as a young adult. By working and juggling three part-time jobs to support myself all the while I was a full-time student back in college, I have learned that your persistent determination to achieve your dreams will take you places. We live in an era wherein not everyone has access to free quality education and free healthcare. We live in an era wherein basic social services are not acquired by everyone. If I could bring this aspect and teach people about persistent determination, we will be able to not just survive but also thrive even in the face of challenges posed by the lack of basic social services".
